Ever wondered how schools could be designed to be Happier and Healthier?

In a volatile, changing and increasingly digital world; teachers, designers and planners are wanting to create schools as sanctuaries for their communities. Our learning environments can be designed to be happier and healthier places, to encourage better relationships, security and comfort for all users, students and teachers alike.

In collaboration with Queensland University of Technology and Australian Industry Trade College, we will explore together with tertiary and secondary students to determine how we might achieve Happy Healthy schools.

  • QUT and AITC students will discuss what wellness means for them at school
  • A facilitated panel including State Government Architect, Leah Lang, will discuss the workshop themes
  • All participating will learn about master planning and explore ten themes for Happy Healthy schools in small group workshops
The day will complete with sharing of workshop explorations, discussions, networking and refreshments.
