CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE A school which is truly at the heart of its community, Winner of the Supreme Award LEAustralasia AWARDS 2021

Join us to hear the journey of the delivery and engagement with this AWARD winning project.

The rebuild of Lepperton School and Community Hall, located in the village of Lepperton, Taranaki, New Zealand won the top honour from a field of 83 entries from across the Asia Pacific at the 13th Annual Learning Environments Australasia Awards last year.

The judges noted that Lepperton School "immediately resonated with the jury, through its development journey and narrative, along with its succinct and well considered entry collateral. This school is truly at the heart of its community."

Murray Robertson from Robertson Hidzir Architects and Lepperton School’s senior leadership team, Principal Andrew Retallick and Deputy Principal Karen Copestake, will take you through the projects

• Development journey and narrative

• Consultation and collaboration process and how this was reflected in the design solution

• Learning impact

• Lessons learnt

They will explain how the design of the school responded to the awards criteria and provide tips on what you need to do for a successful Learning Environment’s award entry.
