Talking Spaces: Engaging in conversations between architects and educators

Please join us for a thought-provoking online event.

The Term 4 Learning Environments NZ kōrero (conversation) Auckland event will centre on ideas raised in the article co-authored by Dr Noeline Wright and MOAA's Tim Horne Talking spaces: Architects and educators (2021). During the online Zoom event, Dr Noeline invites you to share your thoughts in exploring the question "Can we (do we?) talk the same language about learning spaces and what happens in them?"

Dr Noeline Wright is a teacher educator academic in the School of Education at the University of Waikato. She has recently published in the field of learning spaces.

Her first book, Becoming an Innovative Learning Environment: The Making of a New Zealand Secondary School was published in 2018.

This year, there are two publications: one is co-authored with two architects (MOAA's Tim Horne and Trent Thompson) for an article in New Zealand Journal of Educational Studies titled Talking spaces: Architects and educators (2021) and the second is a co-edited a book with Elaine Khoo Pedagogy and Partnerships in Innovative Learning Environments: Case studies from New Zealand contexts.
