2020 saw schooling pivoting in ways and at a rate which was remarkable. Learning and learners were finding opportunities to work differently and in many cases harnessed new ways of learning leveraging qualities and dispositions which rapidly developed during a very different ‘normal’.

Many students enabled flow well, such that they managed their own learning with schools and teachers being facilitators of the process. Student Voice and Choice were paramount during this time and the richness of interaction between and across learners struck new levels of freedom, enjoyment and rich learning.

During this workshop Derek Bartels will present and facilitate a session where students will discuss their learning journey and experience through 2020 and together will form a picture of what school and learning environments could look like into their future.
