Learning Environments Western Australia invites you to join us in celebrating the 2020 Learning Environments Western Australia Awards Programme.
The event will start with the presentation of the 2020 Learning Environments Western Australia Awards. The core mission of these awards is to celebrate excellent learning spaces where innovative architectural ideas support the education philosophy. This year the calibre of the entries demonstrates excellence in the planning and design of educational facilities across Western Australia.

The 2020 jury was chaired by Leon Slattery, Architect and Chair of LEWA Chapter. Leon was joined by Hannah v. Ahlefeld, an analyst with the OECD, and Bradley Day from the Department of Education, WA. This year, members of the jury will be joining us online from the UK and Malaysia to announce the LEWA overall winner, selected from all LEWA category winners.
Following the Awards Presentation, Stage 3 of p[r]ep will be launched. This LEWA funded research project is establishing a community of Postgraduate Researchers, Educators and Practitioners in Western Australia. Expressions of Interest for LEWA participants will be presented, offering exciting opportunities for the LEWA community to share experiences, build new knowledge and invest in the future of Learning Environments in WA.
