As a bold new Catholic educational presence, the new McAuley Community School, at Hove has significantly transformed the original Marymount Middle School to create a new innovative and Reggio Emilia inspired R - 6 Primary School with an integrated B - 5 Early Learning Centre.
The new dynamic buildings with their flowing and playful inspired interior environments provide a variety of sub-divided, purposeful and inclusive spaces that include Shared Ateliers, Imagination Makerspaces and Shared Learning Neighbourhoods that bring the continuous opportunity for the children to further create, explore and discover as part of their new resource rich, student centred and supportive environments.
The new adventurous and natural external environments connect to the vast green oval space, improve connection to nature, beauty and wonder. Covered Courtyards, with Upper Decks and interconnected Links ensure external learning and play is at the heart of the new School.
