LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS QUEENSLAND CHAPTER invites you to join us at Ormiston College to tour the new Centre for Learning and Innovation, designed by BSPN Architecture.

The Centre for Learning and Innovation is the central hub for the community of learners at Ormiston College, it is the social and educational epicentre of the College.

Replacing the outdated single-storey library, the new CLI is the library of the future, acting as the cultural and learning hub of the school and blurs the line between primary and secondary schooling. The building utilises flexible and creative space to encourage student interaction and collaborative learning, occurring anywhere and anytime.

The building comprises library, academic, social (café), archival and technological services, allowing students to gather to create, invent and learn. The CLI seeks to actively embrace the engagement of students, teachers, parents and the broader community, encouraging self-directed learning, empowering as facilitators of knowledge and the school community as active participants.
