CENTRAL HUB and THE BRAGGS

Continuing our focus on STEM, Learning Environments Australia SA Chapter is delighted to present our next forum from the innovative team at the University of Adelaide. Come and visit the University of Adelaide for a presentation on their exciting range of outreach programs in to schools, plus a walking tour of Hub Central and The Braggs. An excellent presentation has been organised, featuring discussions on outreach programs from the School of Computer Science, the Faculty of Sciences and the Centre for Nano-scale Biophotonics, as detailed below.

Hub Central is located in the heart of the North Terrace Campus. A place for students to meet, study and unwind. Over the Hub's 3 levels you will find retail, food and drink, independent study spaces, computer spaces, project rooms and much more. The Braggs building is home to a unique suite of transdisciplinary laboratories. These facilities include glass development and processing, optical fibre fabrication, laser and device development, photonic sensor development, and synthetic, surface and bio-chemistry.  Together with their outreach programs, you will experience some of the exciting outreach initiatives the University of Adelaide continues to develop with outstanding results.
