NZ Chapter: Using collaborative spaces effectively for learning and teaching

  • 25 May 2017
  • 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Ellerslie School, 12 Kalmia Street, Ellerslie, Central Auckland

When working in a collaborative learning space there are always questions about teacher practice and how students learn best in these spaces. Ellerlsie School opened the doors to its twenty four learning spaces building in Term 3 of 2016 and staff have been focusing on providing a learning experience that is innovative and student focused from day one.

This bright open two storey building offers the opportunity for teachers and students to collaborate in different ways and to enjoy learning in a social but structured manner. Before the new building was operational there were other collaborative spaces developed within existing buildings and it is the learnings from those that have helped establish the foundation of the collaborative practice that the learning community is experiencing today.

Join Learning Environments New Zealand to look around this stunning environment, and enjoy some time to network with colleagues.
