Sustainable Design for Sustainable Learning

CEFPI NSW Chapter is hosting a full day out to culminate the 2015 theme: Year of Sustainable Ideas. The broad idea of sustainability is the ‘capacity to endure’. Often the term is linked to environmental ideas, considering the ways in which we preserve and better utilise our existing resources for future generations, but the idea of sustainability casts a wider net:

  • How do we design spaces that can be agile for the changing landscape of learning in 2015 and beyond?
  • What leadership is required to embrace a big vision and inspire the community?
  • Does the design of schools incorporate environmental sustainability?
  • Can we accommodate shifts in technology?
