A discussion forum for educators and designers, with 2 provocations.

The Competent Child – a provocation

Thinking, hypothesizing, testing, evaluating, problem-solving, wondering, marvelling, transforming. Nothing lies outside the realms of the possible or imagined for our youngest learners.

Therein lies the ultimate inspiration and, indeed, provocation for all of us interested in the heart of learning.

Circles, more than just a shape

Our project began with the children demonstrating an interest in circles, particularly moving in a circular motion as a group. As our project developed the children and staff embarked on a learning journey together, discovering that circles are indeed more than just a shape.
