SA & WA Chapters: JEDI Fireside Chat Series - Kids Growing Up

Duration: 57 minutes Following inspirational presentations by the 2023 Mayfield Project team and LEA JEDI Committee at the 2023 LEA Regional Conference re:Activate - generating a city of learning, held in Christchurch NZ in May. LESA and LEWA Chapters joined together to present this event. LEWA Chapter Chair-Elect Chloe Summers, originally from Adelaide and her brother Mike will share Mike's story of growing up with vision impairment and his experiences through schooling in SA. The format of the evening introduced the concept of JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) and a held a Fireside Chat between current LEA International Director Deb O'Riley, Mike and Chloe.
