JEDI FIRESIDE CHAT SERIES | KIDS GROWING UP
Following inspirational presentations by the 2023 Mayfield Project team and LEA JEDI Committee at the LEA 2023 Regional Conference held in New Zealand, LESA and LEWA Chapters have joined together to present this event.
LEWA Chapter Chair-Elect Chloe Summers, originally from Adelaide, and her brother Mike will share Mike’s story of growing up with vision impairment and his experiences through schooling in SA.
The format of the evening will be a brief introduction to the concept of JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) and a Fireside Chat between current LEA International Director Deb O’Riley, Mike and Chloe.
The event will be live streamed to share with our co-conveners of this event, LEWA, and the wider Regional audience.
Brickworks Design Studio have kindly offered their sponsorship for this event, providing a beautiful venue and pre-event networking drinks from 5pm, with the main event starting at 5:30pm (AdelaideTime).
In person attendance will be limited to 50 people, so book early!
