Join us for a special half day forum and networking event exploring Schools as Community Hubs at Aldinga Payinthi College.
Aldinga Payinthi College is a Department for Education Birth to Year 12 school delivered under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The school has been designed as a community hub with a focus on universal access and connection to Country through story telling. Ongoing programs for students supported by the local Elders further develop students connection to place, their learning and their community.
The Department for Education was a funding partner in the ‘Schools as Community Hubs’ three year Australian Research Council Linkage Project (2019-2022) to inform better design and sharing of school infrastructure that improves education and strengthens communities.
The Forum will feature:
Cost of attendance includes bus transport from Adelaide CBD to Aldinga Payinthi College, afternoon tea, transport to Agostino Wines, Wood Oven pizzas at Agostino Wines and transport back to Adelaide CBD after the networking event.
Bus will leave Adelaide CBD central meeting point at 12:00pm and depart Aldinga to return to Adelaide CBD central meeting point at 8:00pm.
