Schools as Community Hubs: Linking research, policy and practice - encouraging the development of resilient and connected communities.

WEBINAR ONLINE Event - Wednesday 19th October 2022 – 4:30pm NZST

Learning Environments New Zealand, in association with Tārai Kura, offers the opportunity to explore latest research and propositions to create successful school-community hubs.

Invariably, schools foster valuable social connections and networks. Yet only some intentionally pursue ‘more than a school’ operations to achieve positive education, health and wellbeing impacts for students, staff, families and members of the broader community.

This Online Webinar Event explores the role of schools and school facilities in fostering better school-community relations through offering extended activities, programs and services. Examples of ‘schools as community hubs’ will be discussed and research-based insights into how to approach the development of successful ‘schools as community hubs’ will be shared.
