Blue Gum Community School - The Impact of Landscaping and the Outdoor Environment in the creation of Contemporary Learning Environments
A work-in-progress re-imagining an ageing school infrastructure and its gradual makeover as a site that celebrates its history, flaws and possibilities, and invites child-like curiosity, wonder and physical engagement with the natural world - nothing without joy!
An architect's perspective on Naturescapes is interwoven with an educator's perspective on why Outdoor Environments deserve greater focus when planning Contemporary Learning Environments.
Parking is available in front of the school in the small car park of Maitland Street. On street parking is also available.
