‘Vitamin G’ is defned as the effects of Green Space on Well-being. Outdoor learning is more than time-out

from classes. Academic research shows positive impacts on creativity and problem solving, collaboration,

cognitive ability, physical activity and gross motor skills, social relations, self-discipline, reducing stress,

reducing ADHD and even eyesight!

How does the new Morialta Nature Playground facilitate these modalities?

  • Five different play and exploration pods are carved into the beautiful natural landscape;
  • Eagles Nest, Great Snake, Kookaburra Nests, Climbing Boulders and Frog Island
  • Interlinked by a natural adventure pathway
  • Physical challenge for a range of ages
  • Spaces to foster creative, constructive play and imagination

Hear the designers, Simon Hutchison (Climbing Tree) and Peter Semple (PSLA) discuss how the ideas

were developed, what works best and what doesn’t. Stay and play afterwards!
