Mayfield Project 2018 Call for Expression of Interest

LEA NSW Chapter are seeking Expressions of Interest from Young Professionals interested in being part of the Mayfield Project 2018.

The 2018 Project is going to focus on the 2018 Conference themes of Reflection, Relevance and Revolution, via a program that will involve the creation of two multi-state teams that will work directly with a school (both in Sydney) to develop a prototype, in a form developed through consultation between the school and MP team, to create real world change in a learning setting.

We are looking for creative, committed and passionate young professionals, both designers and educators.

The teams will work closely with their selected school from January 2018, will meet face-to-face in Sydney for a three day workshop in April to put their plan into action, and will then attend and present their findings at the Sydney Conference in May 2018.

Expressions of Interest should be in written form, and include a brief description of why you would like to be part of this project and how you envisage bringing your learnings back to the wider organisation. It should also include a brief CV (maximum 1 A4 page).

Please note, candidates will be responsible for funding their registration to the Sydney Conference ($575 per person), and for meals and other incidental costs for the Conference and the face-to-face three day stay in Sydney. Flights and accommodation for the Conference and the face-to-face will be covered by Learning Environments (Australasia).
