St Peters College Middle School Site Tour
A world class middle-school where boys flourish” was a bold aspiration to begin a project with. The foundations established to pursue this were Positive emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Achievement (PERMA). The design began with robust discussions about the way year seven and eight boys would best learn. The design team collaborated to create a dynamic vision of the way in which students and teachers might use spaces and how those spaces could support an evolving pedagogy. This included innovative ways of adapting the iconic Pentreath building. The design achieves a student-owned environment that empowers the boys.
