“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has” - Margaret Mead

However grand it might sound, wanting to 'change the world' is a proper and mature ambition. As an initiative of the Victorian Chapter of Learning Environments Australasia, we’re holding an inaugural evening of conversation for emerging interdisciplinary professionals about the future of our education system.

Re/designing Schooling is being held to encourage and support a younger voice to discuss ideas about the future of learning. It will be a first of its kind for the chapter - who would like to broaden the conversation amongst different professions to form a wider circle of collaboration.

The event will be capped at 40 participants to enable a dynamic and lively conversation amongst emerging young professionals from architecture, education, government and academia.

Led by guest provocateurs Mary Featherston, Esme Capp (Principal, Princes Hill PS) and Peter Ellis (Principal-Strategic Implementation, Templestowe College), the evening will involve a semi-guided discussion that will spark new thinking from our next generation of leaders about the future of our education system.
