The Victorian Chapter of Learning Environments Australasia would like to invite you to join us for a regional tour to Geelong to take in some of the area's most significant educational facilities.


Included in this year's tour is the David Darling Playhouse at Geelong Grammar School, the Centre for Advanced Design in Engineering Training (CADET) building on Deakin University's Waurn Ponds Campus, and  the Geelong Library and Heritage Centre.


A sit down lunch will be provided as part of registration costs, along with morning tea and coffee.

Itinerary:

  • 10:00-10:30am - Morning Tea – at Geelong Grammar 
  • 10:30 – 11:30am - Tour Performing Arts Building – David Darling Playhouse (with Peter Elliot)
  • 11:30-12:00pm - Travel to Waurn Ponds Deakin
  • 12:00-1pm - Tour CADET Building (with Gray Puksand)
  • 1:00-1:30pm - Travel to the Waterfront
  • 1:30-2:30pm - Lunch at Sailor's Rest
  • 3:00-4:00pm - Tour of the Geelong Library and Heritage Centre (ARM yet to be confirmed)
  • 4pm - Travel back to Melbourne OR drinks in Geelong
