Registrations are closing soon for LEA VIC / TAS Chapter's
Geelong Road Trip
Join us on Friday 8th September for our annual road trip and explore the evolving educational landscape in Geelong!
Our first stop is to St John's Newton by Minx Architecture, winner of the 2022 Vic / Tas Chapter Awards and LEAD 2023 Awards in Category 8: Outdoor Learning Area. Discover an outdoor environment that is tailored to the needs of students, staff, and the local community. The project's ingenuity shines in its simplicity, providing more than expected within a tight budget.
Our second stop is to Geelong College Junior School by Wardle Architects. Winner of the 2021 Vic / Tas Chapter Awards, Category 2: New Construction Over $8m, this impressive design incorporates a blend of public and private spaces that fosters community spirit. The new Geelong College Junior School arrangement resembles a miniature town plan, with squares, plazas and landscaped courtyards sequenced in between the buildings.
We will wrap up the day with a delicious lunch and engaging conversations at Geelong's Little Creatures Brewery. We hope to see you there! Registrations close Tuesday 5th September so get in quick to avoid disappointment.
