The importance of learning environment research: what’s known & what’s next

Why is researching learning environments so necessary?

  What are the challenges?

  What are the rewards?

How can the research be applied in practice?

Join us for an hour, with a range of New Zealanders who grapple with the knotty questions  about the intersection of education and the built environment, and also get a glimpse at  what’s coming down the research pipeline.

Speakers include John Everatt, University of Canterbury (School of Teacher Education); Louise Starkey, Victoria University of Wellington (education and design faculties) and Robyn Phipps, Massey University (School of Built Environment).

Other representatives of Canterbury, Massey and Victoria universities will contribute their expert knowledge during this session.

MC: Craig Cliff, Senior Policy Manager – Research & Development, Education Infrastructure Service at the New Zealand Ministry of Education
