Learning Environments Australasia and the Department of Education Tasmania invite you to a free site visit to the recently completed Austins Ferry Early Learning Centre, and a presentation on future early childhood D.O.E education by Jodi Upton.
Join us and find out how Austins Ferry Primary School is transforming its Early Learning Centre.
The buildings have been designed with best practice learning principles in mind. This is a great opportunity to learn first hand about the approach taken to these principles and the success of the outcome.
Classrooms are set around an entrance hub which acts as a social hub, kitchen and facilitates larger Launch into Learning sessions. Classrooms have been located and designed to open out onto the playground and harness opportunities for good natural daylighting and views.
Admission is free. The tour will be followed by networking and light refreshments.
