St Monica’s Senior Centre was the winner of Learning Environments Victoria’s 2017 Award for Best Renovation / Modernisation over $2m.

Baldasso Cortese’s design reconceptualises the courtyard of a 1917 heritage building into a sophisticated space for students transitioning to high school. Its central multi-modal ILE unifies six learning areas and a presentation space catering for over 150 students.
